Artists can be tech savvy too

Updated: Aug 29, 2019

If you look up tech art on google, there's this one piece the catches your eye. Its suppose to represent the map of the United States, but with some sort of neon outlining. In order to create something like this, they obviously needed very strong power sources. The artist probably used multiple neon wiring, they same sort that are used to create neon signs. I noticed that there is a thick blue neon line that is supposed to split the west and east side of the map. They most likely connected at least three thinner neon wires to make the line thicker. I just can't figure out what they used to actually connect the lines; its possible that they used the TV monitors in the background. With the amount of power they needed and accuracy they needed to replicate the map of the U.S, it probably took maybe five to seven days. In order to place those T.Vs where they are, they probably needed multiple people to stack them. It could've taken about fifteen people to create this piece.
